Bob McKenzie was just on the radio saying the Canucks didn't have a strong desire to mix things up and then the recent three time champs trade a star and the Coyotes pick up two very good players because they know what they're doing and aren't lazy and pathetic.

Only thing I can think is that the Rangers really felt they needed to move Stepan before his NTC kicked in on the 1st but no one was giving them any better offers so they took what they could get. Goalies don't usually return much but I guess Raanta=DeAngelo Rangers could get a real good player at #7 but not likely one that's gonna be NHL ready I would think I don't really know a ton about DeAngelo other than he's a hot head, good skater who can move the puck but hasn't started putting up points e: this really increases the chances the Rangers are going to sign Shattenkirk
