some fans made a fallout 2 mod that unlocked a lot of stuff that never made it into the game and its worth trying if you ever want to replay it you can get weed and smoke it and it gives you like perception and int i think

one of my favorite touches in fallout 2 was that if you read a book time would pass in game. if you were a high intelligence character a few hours would pass. if you at 3 intelligence or below your character was retarded and it took them like 24 hours to read a pamphlet on first aid

looking back flalout 2s presentaiton of slow adults was very problmatic. you exited half of the conversations with *stare and wander off* and "me have to make boom boom." people would promise you shiny rocks if you "hugged that guys neck real hard he likes being hugged dont stop hugging him until he falls asleep"
