Johnny Walker posted:OK so SomeMathGuy dropped his comics, and I think I'l try picking some of them up for a while, specifically, Mark Trail, Phantom, and Pooch Cafe. I also think I'll stop posting Secret Agent X-9, because I don't care and it seems no one else does so much either. Rex Morgan and 3-G are also on the bubble for me. They just haven't proved to be particularly entertaining lately. Mark Trail may not last long either, but it has sometimes been entertainingly bad so I'm giving it a go. I would miss Rex Morgan and Phantom if they went away. Mark Trail blows, but sometimes the level of blowage is a sight to see. That said, I'm not volunteering to pick up any more comics so you gotta do what you gotta do. The Amazing Spider-Man Sally Forth The Heart of Juliet Jones Prince Valiant Phantom Classic Radio Patrol Rip Kirby In case you thought the guy would crawl out of the murky depths and begin his damp revenge, nope. That's it. They really did go with "And then the villain fell of a cliff and died, the end." Big Ben Bolt This plan seems impractical. LOVE that bottom right corner.

Powers are the densest component of a superhero's body, it is well known. Do not try and figure out how this works for the Blob. More to the point, Magneto is aware that "people with spider powers" already probably make up the second largest distinguished group of superpowered individuals after mutants, right?

C'mon Ripley's, they covered his eyes with a special effect. This is the level of a Slylock Fox trick question. You're far from discerning but have some standards. Now I wonder how Roger Rabbit holds up. I must have seen that one upwards of 20 times, but not once in the last 20 years.

I almost watched it this weekend but watched The Babadook instead. It's been a few years since I've watched Who Framed Roger Rabit?, but the bad CGI was still bad and the good CGI was still good. The mixing of cartoon and live action has never been done better.
