Sae's cognition of everything besides the Prosecutor's Office/Casino is perfectly undistorted. They make of a note of the Police Station looking exactly the same as the real world when they first enter the palace. So there's a fake cognitive version of Joker sitting in the interrogation room, because Sae just spent an hour talking to him locked up in there.

In fact, they specifically mention that they were pleasantly surprised to see that Sae didn't distort humans at all, because that was the only way they plan could have worked.

So I am currently fighting who I assume is the final boss the giant angel form of the Holy Grail, Relabathal or whatever his name is. Anyway I manage to get him down to his last fifth of life or so. But then he brings out all of his green weapons and once and begins charging an attack. Even when blocking this attack instantly kills all my party members. What do I do in this situation? Do I just use defense buffs on my team and attack debuffs on him? Or can I repel the attack or something?

Just rush him down. Taking out his arms will cancel the attack i'm pretty sure, but I just killed him before he could use it.

My people aren't that strong I think. Plus, IIRC the arms aren't separately selected for the attack.

What level are your guys? Because seemingly I was fairly low levelled for that fight compared to a lot of others and I had no trouble. Just pop a defence debuff on him and go to town, he doesn't attack while he's charging i'm pretty sure. Ryuji should have Mataru by this point so maybe swap him in for the party wide attack buff and also for his generally crazy damage. If the arms aren't selectable it might just be that doing enough damage will cancel the attack in general.

Edit: I just checked youtube and the arms are totally selectable.

I just used Ann. For some reason she was busting out 1200+ damage every round with Agidyne and Maragidyne at level 70. I did have both Boost and Amp, and Ryuji was constantly using the attack up buff, but still, nobody else was pumping out numbers that high, even my MC with a level 90 persona.

Yeah. If you have Ann and Makoto in your party (you should, they're great), they've got both the party-defense buff and the enemy-attack debuff. Those two together plus a guard should let you survive pretty safely even that low level. If you maxed Hermit, you should also get one auto-block per battle as well

I managed to destroy all the arms on one attempt, but the attack still went off and did way too much damage. On the next attempt I just focused on the body during that and killed him.

I finished this last night and want more persona.

I played 3/4 of P4 and can't picture myself playing back through 75 hours of it after losing my save. Is P3 on Vita a good version of a good game or is it going to feel dated?

Even P4G feels dated. P3P would feel ancient.

It may be. It's been over a decade since I've played it. I would imagine it would be best to not compare it to Persona 5.

Persona 3 has a better theme and a slightly better end game from a story-telling perspective.

Like, I would personally rank the games like this:
Persona 3/P3P
-Best overall sound track
-Best end game story
-Best themes
-Best vacation sequence
-Best rival(s)

Persona 4/P4G
-Best individual track (I'll Face Myself - P4G Reincarnation Remix)
-Best end game fights
-Best bad ends
-Best setting

Persona 5
-Best aesthetics
-Best characters
-Best battle system/battle perks
-Best social links
-Best MC

It was a toss up between Strega and Adachi (especially after the added scenes in P4G). I just consider Strega more relevant because they have an immediate connection to half your team, so it's a little more effective when Strega pulls poo poo. And they have more of an impact on the world as a whole creating that cult.

I'd agree with other people that P5's rival is more memorable than Strega, and I'd also say that I preferred P5's city setting over P4's sleepy town. Other than that, you have Good Opinions

I kind of want to play Persona 3 again. Hopefully the games come to Steam some time.

I find it amusing that the "goof" in each Persona game becomes more and more competent. Ryuji is more competent than Yuske who was more competent than Junpei.

Persona 5 has a much better story than they other games. However, I would agree it has the worst music of the three. Despite how great a few tracks on it are.

Yeah but it doesn't tell you the exact location where they are just a general place. I mean Shibuya is huge for example.

That isn't even the best song in the game.

"Worst soundtrack in the modern Persona series" is like saying "the worst dungeons in mainline Zelda". It still means it's likely amongst the top 10 games of all-time in that category.
