gently caress, I remember after that first fight with Lawler, Hendricks had showed massive, massive improvement in his striking in a very short time. Against Condit, he was just spamming the left hand like a kid playing tekken who didn't want to find out what the other buttons did. Then, two fights later, he's trading successfully on the inside against Lawler, and nearly shutting him down with leg kicks. I remember someone here saying they couldn't see how anyone else was going to give Hendricks as hard a time as Lawler did. Now, lol. a 5'9 fighter missing middleweight. And looking like poo poo to boot.
