No. My only memory of Metal Gear Solid from back in the day was playing for like twenty minutes and thinking it looked like poo poo and played like total rear end. (Also, it didn't look anything like that picture in IRL life.) I guess PC 3D games had spoiled me at that point but also television sets had gotten too big for the resolution the PS could put out.
