It's not the first time they've done this -- there was a Superman/Bugs Bunny miniseries written by Mark Evanier back in 2000 that crossed most of the Looney Tunes characters over into the DCU. It was more straightforward than these modern versions though.

For the uninitiated, I Hate Fairyland is a series about a girl who gets pulled into a super saccharine world called Fairyland and she can't leave until she finishes a quest to do so. She's really bad at that and doesn't age and when the series starts has been there for years. She is, at that point, just murdering anyone to find her way out. It's worth a read.
