EL BROMANCE posted:Holy poo poo I need to see more of this Let's not forget that he shot a Burberry campaign https://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2016/jul/13/brooklyn-beckham-burberry-campaign-art-critics-verdict quote:Brooklyn Beckham is no Nan Goldin, but there is still nothing inherently wrong with a teenage model who happens to have famous parents being asked to shoot Burberry’s latest campaign. He is not the first model to go behind the lens. The great Lee Miller went from fashion model to heroic war photographer. But Beckham is no Lee Miller, either. In fact, it is hard to make any meaningful comparison of his work with any good photographer because his pictures for Burberry have zero artistic distinction. I'm go make the libellous suggestion that someone set up the entire shot and told him which button to press and not to touch anything else.

Yeah while the photos in the advert aren't anything special, they're not going to stop you in your tracks if you flick through them in a magazine. They at least show competence with lighting, whereas that picture of the elephant...

There's zero chance that Brooklyn Beckham did more than walk around on a very carefully designed lighting stage with a 5DIII on auto mode and a wireless link. I'd be amazed if he even saw the pictures between the time his digital assistant took the camera away from him at the end of the shoot and the point where the marketing team showed him the final edits to 'proof'.

David Beckham is a pretty drat gifted soccer player, who despite not coming across as the smartest guy to walk the earth always came across as genuine and charitable. It must kill him that his son is such an untalented dope.

I don't hate him: he's 18 and he's just started a new artistic hobby. We were a) poo poo and b) pretentious at that age The difference is, for us, the World said 'You're poo poo, come back when you've learnt how to do this properly' For him, the World said 'Hello son of famous people, you're great, here's a book deal' Oops, nope. Turns out I do hate him.

Scrolling through their instagram, it's textbook dunning-kruger. They think they're emulating what successful photographers do, but lack the awareness to realize how far off they are.

The collages even have out of focus text - which makes me think they photographed a print of the collage and managed to get that out of ficus too. Either that or it's layers upon layers of jpeg artifacts from saving the same file over and over at low quality.
