Brent Musberger vs. Richard Sherman Brent Musberger Brent Woody Musburger (born May 26, 1939) is an American sportscaster, lead broadcaster and managing editor at Vegas Stats and Information Network (VSiN). He retired in January 2017 from the ESPN and ABC television networks. Formerly with CBS Sports and one of the original members of their program The NFL Today, Musburger has also covered the NBA, MLB, NCAA football and basketball, and NASCAR and served as a studio host for games, a play-by-play man, and halftime host. He has also performed postgame wrap-up segments and covered championship trophy presentations. He is a member of the Montana Broadcaster's Association Hall of Fame. iospace posted:Brent Musberger for trying to redeem Joe Mixon. Grittybeard posted:Brent Musberger who I'll go ahead and second was a long time football broadcaster (he retired this year) and kinda drunk old dad type. He's actually normally fairly likeable if you can get past stuff like creeping on women in the crowd--he would just not shut the hell up about AJ McCarron's girlfriend back when he was at Alabama. Zurreco posted:Musberger is a sports caster who is mostly used in college football. He has done a lot of stupid poo poo in his career as of late, including objectifying AJ McCarron's fiancée on live TV and basically making it known that football is more important than... well, a lot. Most recently, he lauded Joe Mixon, an Oklahoma player penalized for punching a woman, for his return to glory and overcoming all of the bad times that had befallen him for, you know, punching a lady. Richard Sherman Richard Kevin Sherman (born March 30, 1988) is an American football cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He played college football at Stanford, both as a wide receiver and as a cornerback, and was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Since entering the league, Sherman has the most interceptions and defended passes of any active player. In May 2014, Sherman became one of the NFL's highest-paid defensive players after signing a $57.4 million contract extension, with $30 million guaranteed, with the Seahawks. seiferguy posted:Richard Sherman stopped doing his media chats and threatened to end a reporter's career. He's also been known to bitch at offensive coaches for questionable play calling. I don't think that quite covers things. Richard Sherman is a loud-mouthed trash-talking blowhard who can't shut the gently caress up. He is the absolute poster child for poor sportsmanship. Unlike guys like Berfict who just blatantly try to kill opponents on the field, Sherman compliments his excellent play with a neverending alteration between aggrieved self-pitying crybaby whining and bloviating self-aggrandizing braggadocio. Here is a pretty thorough examination: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19446657/seattle-seahawks-cornerback-richard-sherman-let-go-problem-nfl-2017 Richard Sherman is so proud of himself that he trash-talks his own team-mates during practice. He blames his coach and Wilson for the superbowl loss and thinks they're not held to the same standards as the Seattle D. And he nearly got himself traded this offseason for it. Think about that: a team perennially in superbowl contention, in no small part on the strength of their defense, is open to trading away the best cornerback in the NFL because of his toxic personality. quote:In Week 15 against the Rams last season, Wilson was almost intercepted at the LA 1-yard line. Sherman unloaded on Carroll on the sideline. Carroll tried to calm him down. It didn't work. In the locker room afterward, Sherman heatedly talked to Carroll. "Yeah, I was letting [Carroll] know," he later told reporters. "We've seen how that goes." Carroll coached Sherman in college, when he still wanted to be a WR. He personally scouted him and was responsible for his drafting. How much of a shitbag does Sherman have to be, to risk throwing away his sweetheart gig in Seattle?

Richard Sherman is one of the most vocal assholes in the sport. He thinks he's somehow the only guy in the league who sees things as they really are, trash talks constantly (which is fine), then blames everybody but himself when he loses (which isn't). He threatens people's jobs when they criticize him and is a shithead to his annoying but clearly amazing quarterback. Brent Musberger was sexist in a thoroughly harmless manner years ago. The only douche thing he did this year was say we should give a second chance to an actual rear end in a top hat (who we already purged from the tournament) who the league (Bengals) were clearly going to let pass anyway.

Sherman, mostly because Brent Musberger just feels so irrelevant at this point.

Sherman as he just seems like such an rear end in a top hat and the fact that he tried to gently caress with someones career because he doesn't like being called on what he has done is just too much.

A senile, retired broadcaster whose sexist comments were outside the scope of the contest is, of course, less irritating than Richard Sherman, whose toxic attitude and declining play is going to be the perfect emblem of the Seahawks' window slamming shut in the near future. He was right about the Super Bowl, though.

Alright I let this one run a bit long on account of busy weekend but I'm calling it now: Richard Sherman wins 17-11, a fairly narrow decision and an upset of 4th seeded Musberger by 29th-seeded Sherman.

Jason Whitlock vs. Chargers Cheerleader Jackoff Guard Jason Whitlock Jason Lee Whitlock (born April 27, 1967) is a sports journalist. He co-hosts the daily sports TV show Speak For Yourself alongside Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports 1. Whitlock is a former sportswriter for ESPN and a former columnist at the Kansas City Star, AOL Sports and Foxsports.com, as well as a radio personality for WHB and KCSP sports stations in the Kansas City area. Due to lazy nominators and an oversight on my part, I have no quote from a goon about Whitlock and have to go googling myself to find things out. The top results are about something to do with LeBron that just happened and is thus fodder for next year's contest, but there's this article about his special black sports news site: http://deadspin.com/how-jason-whitlock-is-poisoning-espns-black-grantland-1698683962 quote:Thus far, The Undefeated has produced vastly more inward-facing copy than outward-facing copy. Whitlock is big on having detailed notes taken on phone calls and meetings; they are often routed to one of his private email accounts in ways that bypass ESPN servers. But the portrait of Whitlock that emerges from these notes is not flattering. He comes across as a catastrophe as a manager—paranoid, demeaning, oblivious, vindictive, unbelievably self-regarding, and, in some cases, truly destructive. In these documents, for instance, is evidence that Whitlock used a friend’s work in a column without proper attribution, hired her, and then fired her after having asked her, among other things, not to speak unless spoken to in meetings. ESPN later allowed that in his dealings with her, he had violated its conduct policy. The article is quite long and fully documents the level of Whitlock's massive, massive douchebaggery towards everyone else involved in the project. It also mentions this incident: quote:Last fall, for instance, when white St. Louis Cardinals fans were filmed shouting “Go back to Africa!” and the like at an anti-police brutality demonstration, Whitlock criticized them by noting that “to ignore the obvious inappropriate/trolling behavior of the black protesters is a form of hipster-approved white supremacy that is equally dangerous.” In a December follow-on, he compared coverage of police violence against blacks to that of missing Malaysian Airlines flight 370, ridiculed black parents who have “the talk” with their teenaged sons about how to interact with police, and mused on the benefits of Jim Crow. (This is the one he placed right alongside Ta-Nehisi Coates’s epic case for reparations on his “great content” list.) And this one: quote:On March 10, in the wake of a video leaking of Oklahoma University Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity members singing a song that contained the lyrics, “There’ll never be a friend of the family in SAE,” Whitlock penned his first column in over three months. OK. Chargers Cheerleader Jackoff Guard Cavauro posted:i nominate the boy that was highly jacking off his dick like 25 feet from the cheerleaders during the chargers football game. because he did that. and i dont think his name was released or that he had to register. his shortened name could be: jacking off the dick man, or something elts. quote:A former security guard who worked Chargers games was caught masturbating near Chargers cheerleaders on the sidelines during a game in December. Both the team and Elite Services, the security company, acknowledged the incident and the guard was fired shortly after. So he was actually punished and for some reason I failed to eliminate him, but whatever lol enjoy your fourth of july

Whitlock. One of the douchiest things to do is to refuse to change while being simultaneously offended when you are not showered with adulation. It's possible you aren't selling what they want, friendo. Not everyone can be loved for who they are, and if you aren't one of those people, you can either must pander to be beloved, or you can be yourself but remain unloved.

i urge others to recall the intensity with which the dick jacker was jerking/jacking "the" penis, underneath his pants. i realize seeing is believing but you must have faith that he really was jacking and not simply being a casual peace enforcer. the fotes so far in this round may need to be thrown out and restarted with this info in mind

Alright, time to drop a three pointer: I already voted Whitlock earlier, but in terms of how much of a douche he is? He got disqualified from the "hot take of the week" competition for Awful Announcing. That takes epic levels of douchiness.

it is imperative to note that jason whitlock's employment has been terminated several times and that his body is a terrible prison with which he is punished 24 hours a day for his entire life. if this is not more than equal grounds to being terminated just one time for the gruesome dickjack then gently caress you

Jason Whitlock also probably jerks it to the cheerleaders at any game he goes to and then tells security that they can't touch him because his show All Takes Matter is a big deal. Jason Whitlock thinks that Jed York is the blackest owner in the NFL. Jason Whitlock thinks QBs are throwing for extra yardage because the Earth is flat and if you would just watch this video, you would agree. Also, listen to his podcast and buy some of his Scentsy candles.
