You do what I realized I used to do after watching a lot of my own replays: because you're using 3rd person to peak you're naturally constantly aiming low to get the most information on screen which means when you engage you're already aiming low and dont get a good shot off which is extra important with the pump. Also I don't know what this is a discussion.. the other guy has a vest, you half hit him in the gut for 17 out of 20 hit points at the end so 85% damage.

I remember when Viss was an Arma 3 Battle Royale steamer who could barely get 30 viewers, even though he was pretty good. Then he climbed up to 80 viewers, then PUBG came out. I mean he's not perfect but he doesn't get as mad these days as he used to. Anyway good for him.

Yeah, I tend to do that when I am stressed because I don't know which direction he is coming from, left or right, which puts me in a bad position for the fight. It was a bad engagement, but usually I use a shotgun because it is pretty forgiving of bad shots. I seem to do better many times with the uzi at the start. Maybe its because I move more with the uzi and I tend to just stop and shoot with the shotgun. I didn't realized you could see the damage done on the end screen. I was wondering how much I had hurt him.

I am very new and terrible still and probably 90% of my kills have been close range engagements with a shotgun. The remaining 10% have been two or three SCAR-L kills at medium range, couple of close range pistol engagements, and two fist kills. I don't think I started playing until after shotguns were nerfed, and if no one had mentioned it in this thread, I probably would have never known they were more powerful at one point.

It could also just be lovely stock art while it gets more developed. edit: also, a saguaro forest would be pretty neat to PUBG through, lots of low brush for cover and saguaros sticking out would really provide a lot of cover

I too am delighted to see that it's not Middle Eastern desert. I've played at least seventeen trillion middle eastern desert maps in the last decade and almost no others. The lawn chairs and lovely building both scream American Southwestern Poverty to me as well, I think it's a safe bet it's set there. Not super wild about the shadows being blued worse than an instagram vintage filter, but that's generally one of the easiest and last things done in the level development cycle.

I pretty much only want to play this game now. I've gotten better at combat so most fights i win if i've got the drop. Still gotta get better at moving from place to place and playing with the circle. Man, it sucks to be at work. I'd rather be fighting for my life in a desolate wasteland.
