I don't know. That's a lot of money. I'm a fan of Lukaku, but still, one hundred million pound :stonk:

And this is the biggest surprise. He's been a life long Chelsea fan, played there but didn't 'succeed' and now has the chance to go back there (now that he's really ready).
Why go back to Mourinho? And no CL football? That was also a big factor in wanting to leave Everton iirc.

He's only scored 20+ in the league once (but then tbf rooney's only done it twice) but he'd still be a big upgrade

2013-14	29	17	31	15

2015-16	28	8	37	18
2016-17	25	5	37	25
I've also discovered sexy alexis 'i want 400k a week' sanchez has scored more goals in the league than costa

If £75m is the price tag I imagine that Chelsea will match. I just hope Everton isn't still bitter over the John Stones saga and trying to gently caress Chelsea over

Im pretty happy about it, a good experienced player who can slot it well into the team. Also the way transfers should be done, without weeks of speculation and endless media bullshit but rather they just announce it

Massive upgrade? After all this transfer is gonna be a replacement for Ibra

Griezmann, Lukaku, Morata etc are all great players and Man Utd would defo have been stronger with either of them if Ibra hadn't gotten injured and would have stayed with Man Utd, but neither of those players offer much more than Ibra did last season

i, as well, would prefer an immobile 35 yo to a strong young and fast striker with a more prolific scoring rate from the previous campaign
