Mourinho did let Lukaku leave for Everton, which was nice of him. But yeah as already mentioned, Mourinho didn't trust 19 year old Lukaku, preferring Drogba and Torres. That was somewhat understandable, but then in 2013-14 Mourinho preferred Ba and Torres (and Eto'o) , which is unjustifiable.

Lukaku never spoke ill of Jose as far as I know. He wasn't in Jose's plans so he let him leave with his blessing. Lukaku always mentioned they got a long afterwards.
