At least some part of the Lukaku fee has to be paying Everton to take Rooney or subsidize some of Rooney's massive retarded wages.

Aye he's a centrel midfielder apparently so either he's taking Broonie's place or Scott Armstrong's place

Manchester United target Romelu Lukaku will have to appear in court in October after he was arrested by officers who had warned him five times to turn down music at a party in Beverly Hills last Sunday.

The 24-year-old is on holiday in California and was undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Man Utd on Saturday evening, which was when police revealed details of the arrest.

Sgt. Jay Kim says Lukaku was not handcuffed on July 2nd but was handed a misdemeanor citation for "excessive noise".

I'd quite like us to sign sigurdsson, how was he last season?

As for the rooney transfer, I'm not too worried by it. He's obviously well past his best, but we can afford his wages, and it might just revitalise him enough not to be as poo poo as he has been for the past couple of seasons. We need as many experienced players as we can for the Europa League since theres about four million extra games to play, so it makes sense on that level. And if he is still badly poo poo, he just wont play - he's not being signed to be our main striker / lukakus replacement.

Apart from his set pieces which were ace he was pretty awful. Gives the ball away with stupid flicks or an bad first touch most of the time.

Maybe it was because he didn't get a summer off but he looks slow to react to everything now, either off balance or a yard away from where he should be all the time. He's not the same player who made Bony look a world beater, or was banging them in alongside Danny Graham.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Pogba cost £89m + another £4m in bonuses (€105m + €5m). So he may still be the most expensive player even if all of Lukaku's addons are triggered.
