I've become very disillusioned with liberalism, yes. I I mean I know some of the differences in practice with socialism v. communism v. capitalism, but I think about the only reference I have to it is what occurs in Scandinavia really.

I really despise authoritarianism in all of it's forms. I've seen it pop up with capitalist governments, I've seen it pop up with theocracies and I've seen it pop up with marxist states. My stupid fear is the removal of individual rights and to an extent? property rights. I like the idea of people being able to own their own, start their own business and things of that nature. I don't like the idea of those same people being abused by the banks.

I think the individual needs an insane amount of civil liberties while at the same time access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunity when needed. Someone used the phrase "invisible government" and I agree with that.
