I should listen to what TCC goons say to get right? I have an early battery powered vape (Magic Flight Launch Box). I've had it for several years, and I've had to buy new batteries a few times; it takes a lot of getting used to, but once I figured it out.... weed lasts for-loving-ever. It's also small enough that you can take it anywhere. I wouldn't recommend it for a newbie, but it definitely works once you figure out how to use it. I would think newer stuff is a lot more advanced, but I haven't looked in ages (and probably won't until the MFLB dies). I still like bongs now and then, but I'm no longer a fan of pipes or joints anymore - at least not when I'm paying for the weed. Just too much waste! randomidiot fucked around with this message at 05:59 on Jul 14, 2017 |

I've been vaping wax for a few months now and it was working great before the pen I got took a poo poo. [e] I just checked their website, that's exactly what they sell. Pretty stoked. I just finished shooting my 2000th nail through my $12 after coupon harbor freight air nailer that says oil before each use and guess what I haven't oiled it a single time! No one tells me what to do! In other news I am 6'2 (with eyes of blue) and while I can only speak of 90s cars with authority as that is when I delivered cars for a detail shop I comfortably fit in anything from Yugo to Renault to Neon to Viper.

I should really upgrade and spend more than on paraphernalia. My bong only works because of a liberal application of electrical tape. But I pulled my first engine today! Only hosed up two studs that got hung up the bell housing.

Weed is cool and good and you should smoke it every day because within 5 years it's going to be hard time for possession and any medical programs are going to get shut down, let alone recreational states.

What makes you say that? Besides it won't stop people from smoking it even if it did happen.

Serious question time, when the hell did brake pads stop coming with wear indicators? Apparently, my wife's 2013 Taurus doesn't have them and neither do any of the aftermarket pads for it. I got to change out pads and front rotors tonight and apparently need to look at those fuckers more often now that I know the only wear indicator involved is rotor replacement time... It just boggles my mind that a safety item like that wouldn't be standard much less manufacturers cheaping out and not adding in a $.02 piece of metal. Did the bean counters just not account for a markup on that poo poo?!? gently caress...

It's been years since I've been for one and I used to wear glasses so I feel like getting some will essentially be like upgrading to ultra high definition (though what will the call the next upgrade to TV resolution?)

This is absolutely correct, up until about this time last year I used a MFLB and just got fed up with how fiddly it is and constantly having to change/recharge batteries. Bought my wife and I a pair of Flowermate 5.0 pros and haven't looked back - being able to set a temperature and then pretty much forget it, not having to shake to rotate the flower every few minutes and not having to worry about damaging the screen is really nice. My flowermate uses a pair of 18650 cells for power (unfortunately not easily replaceable) so it runs for hours on a single charge. At this point the only advantage the MFLB has is their no questions asked lifetime warranty.

CAT INTERCEPTOR posted:"He just buys lovely cars because of brain damage" What did you buy this time? Or is that just a general statement? ZincBoy posted:The older CNC thing is a bit of a crap shoot unless you know what you are doing. Many of the old machines have been ridden hard and put away wet and if you don't know what to look for, you will have a pile of scrap. Just check the mechanical workings of any machine before starting on the conversion and return it to the scrap yard if it is too horribly worn. I haven't converted an old machine but have converted a manual to CNC with decent results. Worth noting, indeed. I've not done anything in this direction, and it will likely be some time if and when I try a conversion myself. I know just enough about machine tools to get myself in trouble, though my dad is an engineer with machine shop experience, and I took metal shop in high school (manual tools only), so I do know a few basics, at least. Not enough to evaluate a machine - i'll let dad handle that for me. quote:That being said, I mostly print things these days as 3d printers are fire and forget once you get them dialed in. I have several of the Monoprice Maker Ultimate printers. They tend to go on sale from time to time and I picked mine up for $500 each. They can use a few inexpensive upgrades like an all-metal hot end if you want to print more automotive compatible plastics. It is great to prototype with the 3d printer and machine the final version. I have also printed suspension bushing boots using X60 TPU that have worked great (need a flexion extruder for this). Thanks. I could probably swing that much for the Maker Ultimate. I get that the four-post design is going to be more stable, and therefore more precise than the two-post design of the lower-end Makers. I see that there's a 3D printing thread, but it's got a bazillion (old) posts, and, frankly, I trust you guys more than SA as a whole... keykey posted:Serious question time, when the hell did brake pads stop coming with wear indicators? I've never tried it either, but the alternatives are prescription drugs with horrible side effects and a very real physical dependency in some cases. I feel bad for the poor Colorado residents having to put up with weed tourists, but at least they're not drunk!

I have not heard of this before, but are you saying that there are laws (under the guise of anti-terrorism) that state business profits have to be kept in banks? On the other hand, I've heard that the (maybe some of the) banks won't take money from dispensaries because it's made illegally on a federal level.
