At this point I am developing a pet hypothesis that Russia saw Citizens United as a massive opportunity to funnel money into vulnerable US politicians- and wound up funding a fair portion of the GOP establishment as a result. Further, I suspect the Russians may learned from what the Koch bro's did in creating the Tea Party and are using that as a model to steer/manipulate the alt-right. I am also very suspicious that Russia might have been quietly funding certain American fringe media figures like Alex Jones and the like- certainly Russia has no problem in openly using state assets like RT to support people like Alex Jones.

I think at this point there is a case to be made that Russia may have embraced phase two of the cold war in a much more serious way than America was really prepared to deal with.
I'd love to have a candid chat with a mi6 guy about Nigel Farage, Breitbart UK, and the magically dis appearing UKIP. We know Putin has pulled this sort of coop throughout eastern europe. I think he's been pissing farther west than that.

A shotgunis useful for robbing banks and killing local officials. Stuff that all the tanks and missiles are useless against. Drones are the only real threat on that list and even the most podunk jhadis have them. Also duh shoot the drone down with the shotgun.

For comedy, you can search the results of why people were denied clearances. It's so arbitrary. You can tell when it was someone important vs a truck driver. I found a case where the dude was busted with child porn on multiple occasions and was eventually granted a clearance after an initial denial. He must have had a PhD in something they wanted to research or something. Then I found a dude who admit to taking a puff of weed at a Dave Matthews concert with his son. Like it wasn't even his, just someone in the crowd passed it and he took a hit. Denied. Him being dumb enough to admit this might be the real reason he was denied.

Suffice to say meeting with Russian agents and then lying about it would def be enough to get even a Secret clearance revoked.

It tends to be an issue of leverage and blackmail.

I was looking through it and some dude basically got denied for :filez: in college and the judge overturned it because the government couldn't prove he did something wrong.

I hope you level up! :)

Notice that they said "prematurely hit the send button".
That doesn't mean they accidentally hit the button.
It could mean that they "thought the form was complete", and then prematurely sent it.

But saying "hit the send button" makes it sound more like a physical mistake, rather than "prematurely sent it"

Its not technically a lie, but its a way to make it sound different from what it is.

quote:

Conway: Hillary Clinton ‘one of the only people’ who believes in Russia collusion

Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway said Friday that “the goal posts have been moved” when it comes to proving cooperation between the campaign of President Donald Trump and the Russian government.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Conway said, is among a handful of people still clinging to theories of collusion.

“I mean, we were promised systemic, hard evidence of systemic, sustained, furtive collusion that not only interfered with our election process but indeed dictated the electoral outcome,” Conway said on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.” “And one of the only people who says that seriously these days is still Hillary Clinton and nobody believes it. We know why she lost. It's obvious.”

I really hope Conway gets caught up in all of this and goes to jail. I'm not holding my breath, but the idea puts a smile on my face.

This particular organization has deep ties to the Republican political establishment via the Council for National Policy, (the founder of School of Tomorrow sat on the board of the CNP for many years) and the GOP has acted repeatedly over the years to keep School of Tomorrow as far out of the public limelight as possible.

For a demonstration of the depth of the ties between School of Tomorrow and the GOP I reference the article "Remember the Christian Alamo". This article details how a School of Tomorrow facility that had been shut down for the concentration-camp levels of abuse it was heaping on teenage girls. (beatings, forced stress positions for hours, solitary confinement with constant auditory harassment for periods of up to 30 days, etc) Then Governor of Texas George W Bush swooped in and personally intervened to not only reopen the facility but to protect it from future state oversight with a RFRA law.

The thing about School of Tomorrow is that although the CNP is pretty competently run, SoT is staffed primarily by its own deluded cultists at this point. As a result of years of dealing with that organization I am 100% certain that they haven't the sense to cover their tracks competently. I rather suspect that an investigation into their financial history/financial history of their chief officers (the founder of A.C.E. was quietly forced out of the organization for raping one of his students, his wife runs it now) would yield a bountiful harvest of interesting connections and leads.

I have no capacity to take my investigation of School of Tomorrow any further than I have, but I am very certain that once someone starts seriously looking all kinds of fascinating poo poo will emerge. As an organization School of Tomorrow posses the delightful combination of outright evil and bumbling incompetence that has come to define Trump. So if you (or anyone else who has the capacity) ever gets the chance to kick the tires of that one, please let me know what you find.

Interesting, I'll put that on a back burner and let it simmer for a bit.

I would say that taking a country and holding it are two very different things, especially considering how America is organized. Someone could storm the Capitol today in some reverse Operation Valkyrie and take over the immediate government, but the ability of the gov to rule the country is entirely based around the state's respect for the capitol's power. Kill all the people in power in DC and most states will just tell the killers to go gently caress themselves.

That's why they have to fake a real election, so that people don't lose faith in the power of the Fed
