Just caught while flipping channels that Faction has been canceled, being replaced by a Guns & Roses Channel for eight days and then Yacht Rock. Yacht Rock is actually the lesser evil for once. Is Faction Talk sticking around or did Opie's photo shoot tank the entire channel?

E-Rock, who is now running Faction Talk, hinted on Bennington the other day that Faction shows would be moved around or cancelled. I would assume the music talk shows would probably end up on Volume or Lithium. Ch 41 becoming GnR and then Yacht Rock until September is official, but I don't think they've announced anything about Faction's fate, or if Yacht Rock will become permanent on satellite. E-Rock did pretty much confirm Jason Ellis will stay on Faction Talk.

Jason was speculating (because he thinks he's in charge) that Jim and Sam would be an hour earlier, then he moves an hour earlier and gets an hour replay. If that didn't happen he wouldn't be happy. And hey maybe Jude gets a show. Also he called c&r goofy and said no one asked him if they could be on the channel and never mentioned Nick. I'm guessing he moves back to afternoons because "west coast mornings" is a stupid time slot

People on the YouTube comments (lol I know) are always complaining when Jim is out, but I actually prefer the Sam-only shows to the Jim-only shows. When Jim is alone he gets really manic and weird and it's uncomfortable to listen to.

Yeah the Jim only shows are painful, his own OCD kicks in big time and he flails around unless someone else is in the studio for rapport. It's the same reason I can't listen to Nick Dipaolo's show (besides the giant amount of time he wastes taking calls stroking his ego). Nick actually shuts up his flunky if they so much as peep too.

I like how the call started off as Ellis trying to make a bit out of all of this and Sam just completely shutting him down, and Ellis just not refusing to cut it short and making it into a bizarre ten minutes of him repeating himself. Talk to management and the people who make the schedules, don't harass Disco Caveman and expect anything from it.
