Clancy was a classic case of stolen valor especially how he would always wander around wearing military and how all his book had ultra-heroic military types. In my view the Medicaid expansion showed how effective single pay would be. Just do Medicare for all, not mention how countries like Taiwain used Medicare as a model when they developed their own single payer system.
