Looking it up on some wiki, apparently it's sometimes legal as a counterpick stage, but most people don't like it due to having walk-off areas which aren't exactly popular.

Ryu is legit more fun to play in smash 4 than he is to play in SF5, but you will want analog inputs instead of just digital.

He has dope rear end combos.
