For anyone wondering, the wheels are Archered from the Mars Curiosity Rover. Artists took that inspiration and layered in the fidelity to get to the monstrous design of the tumbril. They saw the ridges on the wheel and thought, what if they jutted out like pangolin scales. Too bad they have no idea why the Curiosity wheels where designed the way they are, and are already falling apart after travelling 15 km at a velocity of about 30 metres an hour. A good design to base your manned, bulky, space truck on.
