On the flip side, I cannot think of a more white cereal than Wheaties. Raisin Bran, maybe? Interesting take though, Chili. I didn't notice that... Also Michael Pittman was a freaking beast. Imagine that running with a full head of steam behind Mike freaking Alstott.

Truth be told, I'm ok with visiting New Orleans every now and then, but I hate driving in it. I'm much more comfortable driving in Pensacola, Gulfport, and even Houston than New Orleans. When I go I usually hit the French Quarter or the surrounding areas. When my sister in law lived here, we'd visit her and visit Freret St. I love the food there obviously, but there's a lot of good food all around here. I don't drink, so besides enjoying the music at the bars, the drinking scene doesn't do much for me. It's a fun place to visit (and to see Saints games or other spectacles), but I'd rather be by the beach in Pensacola/Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Gulfport. To each his own.

The Super Dome was loving huge, I was kinda  at the size of it.

Some of the nicest people ever, but when they start mixing some Cajun French in with English and speaking rapidly, all you can do is smile and nod. And that's not everyone obviously, but I'm thinking more of going to the festivals and restaurants with the dance floors. And the food is drat good in Lafayette too.

Puts the whole Katrina thing in perspective since they filled it AND the ginormous convention center.  And yeah, some of the natives speak a different language. I was smiling and nodding a lot. The one thing I am bummed I did not see was Boudin. I was in Baton Rouge a long time ago and a client sent me home with a bunch of it. It was loving incredible and I wish I had some. I did gorge on Jambalaya and crawfish though.

Boudin is so tasty its unreal. Unlike the rest of yall I guess I painfully miss New Orleans now that i dont live there and try and visit once a year like its a friend in hospice. Saints can get moved when the city sinks but I wont be able to stuff my gullet with New Orleans food once the water swallows it all.

Walking to a bar on Bourbon, it starts pouring ran, humid as gently caress, and then the smell came...oh my Lord was it bad.
