That's a Biden success story.

I guess that I should have clarified that good ideas don't require deception to sell.

Do your numbers take into account charge times? Or are they going to have like 4x as many pods as the loop can support so there's a constant backlog of charging pods?
They'd need to have power storage on-board, because the amount of infrastructure required to power rails that long is just absolutely insane. Think about how many transformers alone you'd need..

Maybe.

Trump is just batshit crazy.

i view pence as a ford if trump gets tossed or dies or whatever. he isnt really liked and he doesnt have the charisma to heal the GOP and close the various fractures in the party, sure he wouldn't aggravate like trump. but he wouldnt do poo poo. he would probably try to go full moral majority to try to unite the GOP and go after media/lgbt/"immoral" culture but the DNC can actually fight that to an extent(unlike trumps dumb rear end psudo-populism) pence would lose probaly if the DNC ran a decent or good canidate and if the base was still enraged over trump.

Here's a little something odd:

quote:

Here’s a story that has gone completely under the radar, and raises some serious questions that the mainstream media largely seems to have ignored. Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS, whose firm commissioned the salacious and mostly unsubstantiated Russia Trump dossier, plans to plead the Fifth after being subpoenaed by U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.

According to documents obtained by LawNewz, attorneys for Fusion GPS’ Simpson sent a letter to Chairman Chuck Grassley expressing concern over the direction that the hearing was taking. The letter stated that Simpson would not voluntarily show up at the hearing due to a pre-planned vacation, and if subpoenaed he would exercise his First and Fifth Amendment rights not to testify before the committee examining the influence of foreign lobbying in the 2016 election.

.....

TLDR -- the co-founder of the company that commissioned the Trump dossier (of piss tape infamy) is either going to no-show or plead the fifth in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, because ???.

Because that's what you have to do to, say, protect sources when you're a non-journalist.

And I could just go full whataboutism and point to, well, every single republican put in front of a congressional investigative committee in the last what, 20, 30 years? Every sleazy banker who walked out of the banking crisis with a slap on the hand and a grin on the face?

Edit: Regarding your edit, no seriously, the undercut was a major fad:

Apparently the conservative activist groups have finally gotten the message and are spamming Capito and Murkowski's offices with calls. Collins is a hard no, but Lee, Moran and Paul will all vote on a MTP if they think they can get full repeal out of it. With McCain still out a Murkowski no kills the MTP, but she's wavering. Arizona's governor torched the bill but Flake is gung ho for yes (despite being the second most vulnerable 2018 R Senator after Heller) so that doesn't get us anywhere.

Heller is such a coward. He and Portman won't be No #51, though they'd love the bill to fail I bet. Capito and Murkowski are the ones you need to focus on if you're making calls this weekend. If they're hard noes then it doesn't matter if McCain comes back, the repeal is dead.

But if pleading the fifth is used to avoid self incrimination, what does that have to do with 3rd parties (sources)?

Also your whatabout comparison doesn't make sense in this case, since what you're speculating about uses situations where people are pleading to avoid incriminating themselves, when means you must think he Fusion GPS co-founder does actually have something to hide about a possible criminal element.
