Doesn't bourgeoisie require some level of wealth and ownership of production beyond a top ~10% income? Should we care if Chapo are now class traitors? If the line is $150k/yr I'm not sure if I'm supposed to stop voting or instead see that the line I cross to accept Chapo means supporting Mark Warner or some other business ghoul in the D caucus. Every few weeks some person who knows it's a very bad look to directly complain about left politics complains Chapo makes too much money etc. but never offers something better or suggests they've heard of Street Fight, Discourse Collective, Trillbilly, Delete Your Account and the like.

Carl was claiming that as one person and not the whole group tho. I ain't calling them class traitors or whatever. I don't know where you get "They're not real lefties for having money" from that, just that sometimes they're perceived as these figures of monetary struggle when they ain't aside from Matt, podcast money aside. This does not in any way deny their position as organizers or whatever.

Even if you had a comfortable upbringing, if it's morality that brings you here, good. Especially when so many who bring up this argument are disingenuous and obviously have ulterior motives while making 10x any member of CTH does while working at some big media industry or a make-work propaganda machine funded by billionaires

It's just that a bunch of the supporter crowd do see them as like, the internet podcast equivalent of the Beverly HillyBillies where all of the Chapos somehow were incredibly poor and lived in sleepbags until they got on SFR, on which then they made a podcast and somehow a bag of money shown up in front of their communal tent, on which they brought the Park Slope Mansion. Most of the Chapo Crew are media people who'd otherwise live comfortably without the podcast.

Here's my best guess on Felix: he was upper-middle-class in Chicago.
