this only mattered to the extent they wanted to make it deficit-neutral, and that plan is already dead because the border-adjustment tax is dead

I prefer to think of thing as a class with IsGood as a property. :spergin:

code:

class Republican {

bool _isEvil = true;

public bool IsEvil {
get { return _isEvil; }
}

Public bool Do(Thing thing) {
return thing.IsGood ^ IsEvil;
}
}

Edit: Fixed edge case where non-evil Republicans wouldn't do good things.

The only thing we're pretty sure about is that it won't be a "clean" repeal, as in a bill that says "everything in the ACA is now erased", because that would require 60 votes. These days, the shorthand for repeal means "everything that can be repealed via reconciliation", but we just say repeal for brevity. Clean repeal usually means actual, everything out, repeal.

Beyond that, we don't know what the senate plans to vote on.

Literally nobody knows what the senate is going to vote on. Five minutes before that, McConnel will frantically make a few squiggles on a piece of toilet paper.

Jeff Sessions standing between having a constitutional crisis and not having one is pretty scary.

Could it be that while the guy hates black people and drugs, he might care enough about the political system to see that doing whatever Trump wants would be an utter disaster? I mean he was a Senator for decades. He's a piece of poo poo but he knows you can do all sorts of heinous things but still remain inside the law.

Rand Paul refuses to sign the toilet paper unless he can wipe with it, forming the letters "Kill all poors," Collins won't unless they tear off a piece and give it to opiate addicts to wipe their noses with.

Cruz will hold a presser to talk about how he personally had a chance to review the texture of the toilet paper. He found it far too soft for the sort of hard choices this country has to make and announce he will be voting against it.

Kushner is both too incompetent and too dishonest to tell us if it didn't go well. For all we know it was an utter disaster. However I don't expect anything meaningful to come from the house or senate investigations. They're just dog and pony shows, and I would be surprised if every republican on both of them wasn't complicit in the Russia scandal.

Who would even be pissed off if a nazi got removed from a game? It drives me crazy that they didn't ask this guy to leave--who would be upset? Would conservatives honestly be angry?

Like can we seriously no longer agree as a country that nazi tattoos being openly displayed in public is grounds for being removed from a place?

I'm tempted to think that Sessions would rather be Pence's AG than Trump's, and wouldn't mind seeing Mueller get the entire family's scalps, but Sessions is almost certainly implicated in whatever the conspiracy was. So I guess that means he actually cares about due process (except for minorities).
