From this point on Trump's team is going to sprint over the line and see if anyone pushes back instead of toeing it and stepping over it once in a while

This is giving trump too much credit. He fired spicer and will keep gabagool for now because gabagool lets him eat desert for every meal and tells him he's the smartest handsomest guy ever instead of blabbing about weird sounding countries and numbers and poo poo and asking him to approve this or that. he is voting yes, but enough important parts don't pass the Byrd rule.

So either McConnell goes to the next level of completely loving up the Senate, or it'll require 60 votes for some key provisions.

This is Urotsuki.

honestly mtp is completely different than passing a bill, it doesn't commit to anything except bringing it to the floor and debating

if McConnell goes "lol whatever" to pass it then that's an issue and yeah it's a total possibility. They don't have 60 for full repeal which has already flunked the cbo scoring iirc and the original bill was murdered in its sleep as well. I'm more worried this is a second bite at the AHCA apple now that McConnell's had time to twist arms and bribe.
