It could be a glitch in the store. We don't know how long the game has been 4vs4 pvp, maybe is a recent decision to try to have 60 FPS in the future.

8v8 is just the kind of thing these idiots would decide to hold back instead of using it to build hype in the face of the 4v4 changes. How much better would 4v4 have gone over if the announcement had been accompanied by an 8v8 mode that was just for screwing around and having fun?
