Some bullshit about cost which is easy to crush and then some nonsense about it being a mental illness. That's because nobody has to work very hard on giving them plausible stuff on this one. They already are transphobic babies. The #1 common trait I found in conversations with trump voters shortly after the election was the person bringing up "no men in my daughters restroom!" with literally zero prompting.

This has seriously been the longest 6 months of my life. The fact you literally can't wake up in the morning without a new kind of fresh hell is insane. I can't even imagine the conservatives are okay with it because it's a new case of 'what is loving up now even though we should be winning." I don't get how the country can sustain 4 years of this. It's going to drive people crazy.

From here: “While she believes taxpayers shouldn’t cover the costs associated with a gender reassignment surgery, Americans who are qualified and can meet the standards to serve in the military should be afforded that opportunity.” So not entirely, but it is at least a direct condemnation of the ban instead of a "well I need some more info."

In fairness, I was hoping Hillary would study the same... but with the opposite focus (to protect workers, do some industries/cities need a higher threshold for exemption?) Rolling back the labor rules on OT and classification will have a massive impact in food service, retail, and other hourly nonunionized fields. Coincidentally, the demographics of these spaces do not have much overlap with even working class Trump supporters. This should be a great way for Dems in 2018 to show a distinction, at least.

let me once again take the time to to point out how awesomely toothless and concerned about appearing trendy the U.S media is again Oh clever poo poo. He's probably just crazy but how can we spin this with a little levity for the millennials and lovely pop music references so as to make it appear like it's all in good fun. This is one of the reason I say the U.S Media is largely newsfotainment and lacks any sort of teeth to act as a watchdog on anything even if it wanted to. If Trump is overly concerned about ratings and numbers I think he's got more than he thinks in common with his stated mortal enemy.
