Timothy Byrne is an odd duck. There’s something about his hyper consistent routine of four photos a day and 30 minute videos of him covering songs that I find charming. I hope someone else here does too.

The government are using car registration plates to subliminally tell us to vaccinate.

I've been wondering about this for a while, and my husband has encouraged me to post to CST and some other subs just to get some feedback and maybe some stats.

For approximately the last two years, I've been seeing the word 'VAX' cropping up on car registration plates averaging around 5 or 6 times a week. I live in Queensland in Australia, and our number plates are always formatted as '123-ABC', obviously with many different variations of that.

All of the cars are different makes, years and models, so I don't believe it's a batch release of the number plate to a specific car dealership. I have also seen these plates within a 100+ kilometre range, from Brisbane all the way down to the Tweed in New South Wales. I've got probably 20 pictures on my phone of these different plates, and my husband has noted he often sees them when we're driving together - although that may be because I constantly point them out to him. I also see 'XAV' a lot - which when seen in my rear view mirror reads 'VAX'. See link here of a few of the pics I have: https://imgur.com/gallery/ScDeQ

Like most of us, I have always looked for the 'code' or the repetition in everything and I've always had a bit of a love for number plates, even as a kid on road trips. Loved to find words or acronyms in the plates and continued doing it into adulthood. I thought maybe I'm just seeing 'VAX' and 'XAV' because I'm subconsciously seeking out these plates, perhaps because I'm strongly anti-vax.

Diabetes is grounds for not being taken into the military, but once you're in the military being diagnosed with diabetes doesn't necessarily mean being discharged. It's also not a great comparison because the argument, when one is presented at all, against trans people serving in the military is that if supply lines are cut off being dependent on their medication is a liability. But a diabetic who gets cut off from insulin could be incapacitated or even killed by their condition in a short period of time, whereas for a trans person going even weeks without hormone replacement therapy would be unpleasant, not fatal.

I decided to start looking for other specific letter groups on registration plates and actively try and find them. I used my own plates and my husbands plates for a reference and for weeks scoured car after car for another plate that was the same. I only found 1 car that had the same lettering as my plates.

So I guess what I'm saying is - are the government preferencing the release of these plates because we see 'VAX' and subconsciously think about vaccinations or making sure our kids are up to date? Australia is strongly pro vaccination, and I heard on the radio today that the local council are actively trying to ban any anti-vax documentaries or info from being shown in public schools. This came after a mother showed 'Vaxxed' during the P&C meeting at her child's primary school.

Also - is there any possible way to track the release of government plates, and find out how many were released and in which areas?

Just some food for thought, let me know what you think, or if I've posted this in the wrong sub. Any suggestions or directions to the right sub would be much appreciated. Thanks!
