There's one contractor who was supposed to go out and install a grate over it but it was already the end of the shift, and it was gonna be a three day weekend...

or it was just fine when it appeared the empire assumed the port wasn't a big deal since the station was practically invulnerable. it suffers the same issue of the other prequels where they overexplain something that was fine the way it was (and make it dumb by missing the point of the thing in the original flicks).

it was rey and it's to set up a joke about her saying "14 parsecs" and he says "12!" (which was a funny well done callback) it doesn't act like it's a thing that happened, it's about the legend/myth of solo. finn even goes "the rebellion general?" and rey goes "no the smuggler!" and finn asks chewie "wasn't he a war hero?" (then she says it's the ship that did the kessel run in 14 parsecs)

I tried to watch John Wick 2 today, turned it off after the first scene - too ridiculous. Then tried to hate watch the new Ghost in the Shell, had to skip the part with her mother, then the entire third act - that movie had no idea what made the original animated film good. Managed to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes, done ridiculous poo poo in it but it was pretty good. Maybe I should start a YouTube series about my opinions but I can't decide which RLM I am - probably Mike in drinking habit, Josh in appearance, Rich in hanging-on-i-ness, Jack in fatherliness, and Jay in beardiness So the worst amalgamation possible
