That one really jumped out at me, and I don't remember it EVER coming up in any discussions between the cliffhanger and reveal.

There's some theorycrafting on the return of syrio and how he's Jaquen, and my girlfriend sent me a video a friend of hers was chewing her ear off over, which involves some elaborate theory on how Tyrion is actually going to ride a dragon alongside dany, but I haven't gotten around to watch it yet, because lol

gently caress it, here it is. Turns out tyrion is supposedly a lannister, because REASONS, and him, Jon, and Dana will rule westeros from the backs of dragons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42eSFEE_LHM&feature=youtu.be it's pretty much Dan Brown reasoning all the way

How many people didn't die on screen but are 100% confirmed dead, none? I guess the dude that jumped out the window is probably dead but hey Curious about Stannnis Baratheon Way too many characters in this show. You got the half-zombie uncle and the poor blacksmith dude still rowing I was hoping for something a bit more exciting with the whole Blackfish debacle. "Lol hey I have rights to this castle open the gates pls"

Syrio is absolutely dead because otherwise Meran Trant would have been. Likewise, the blackfish is dead as was acknowledged in the convo with Jamie and Walder. Further if you think for a moment brienne didn't drat near chop down the tree Stannis was leaning on when she lopped off his head you're out of your mind.

Also, Tyrion isn't a secret targ. If anything he's the only true lannister and jamie/cersei are actually targspawn and jaime is the third head of the dragon.

ehhh, I feel like some sort of deal was worked out. Not sure what, but yeah I mean look at her relationship with Jamie Lannister. I did enjoy the Blackfish part with both of them that humanized Jamie a bit and the whole idea of the senseless wars but maybe I'm reading too deep

Fast forwarding a whole lot, but I'm digging it. They're telegraphing a little hard that the plan is to neutralize Dany's military advantage entirely in order to keep the suspense, but those were some really cool ways to do it. And the Queen of Thorns is still confirmed to own. (To be fair, Jaime had all the time to give her a painful death after her confession, but whatever)

This show is pretty dumb a lot of the time but Jon Snow begging for the flames was actually super tense. Cersei showing some emotion and motivation, followed by vengeance against a captive foe that is thoughtful and poetic instead of just ridiculous torture porn, is another nice touch. poo poo, this season is good!

Honestly I think the writers realised they'd created a dumb situation at the end of last season. On one hand they had Dany with a massive fleet and a billion soldiers and on the other they had Cersei with basically nothing, so they're just BSing it to even things out a bit. It really seems like sloppy as gently caress writing right now as they try to create conflicts, otherwise season 7 would just be Dany rolling over King's Landing and calling it good.

Pretty much and I think the compressed episodes isn't lending time to show travel time and those experiences that happened is past seasons. Nonetheless the Greyjoy Fleet that teleports everywhere and blows everything up is getting old. The faint and the march to kill old lady rose was better executed and more believable.
