She strongly supports civil asset forfeiture and was AG in a state with one of the worst prison systems in the country. It seems like politicians with a law enforcement background invariably have some awful views on criminal justice issues.

dream daddy was attempting to have a liberal audience with social values in their game but online liberals have gone loving nuts. tumblr fandom has gone nuts. they harass people who make cartoons for not making their ships canon, and not only do they attack each other about liking different things than they do because it's problematic and use social justice to justify that but they attack others about having different imaginary relationships between fictional characters than they do, again using social justice concepts. I'm worried that a lot of kids who just want to talk about the shows they like online, or their fanfictions, or whatever, will have tumblr and twitter as their first political exposure and be driven far right.

What i can't understand is how somebody with a history of representing lgbtq stuff in her art can be declared a bigot for a single work and pilloried by the masses. I don't understand how something like support for gender identity issues can end in such virulent hatred.

Also, libertarian positions on foreign policy are more sane and rational than the bipartisan consensus of foreverwar, which is probably the main reason why the whole Ron Paul thing took off in the first place. My preference would be a more active diplomatic approach as opposed to Ron who basically wanted isolationism but that's still preferable to both parties championing blowing trillions on blowing up poo poo in the mideast.
