I'm late to the discussion but BHB sucks because it's very very easy for the game to snowball out of control for the team that gets the first turn in. They will likely get a level lead, have enough coins for a second turn in, and just hold the point indefinitely even if you have enough coins to turn in for your behind team. It will be impossible to find an actual window for your team to turn in on the chest because it takes 10 seconds to turn in and the enemy team will likely be constantly scouting and interrupting you while they push lanes/farm camps. However you can't actually do anything map-pressure wise besides clear camps (and pray the enemy team doesn't just kill you) and it's impossible to soak because again they will farm camps and chests and just turn in again as you desperately pray that you catch up in experience. This is unlike almost every other objective on a different map where there are clear opportunity costs for camping out the objective point such as taking damage from the objective boss or declaring your position/splitting up your team. The map is also absurdly massive and spread out for the number of points of interest. It's mostly just an excruciatingly frustrating experience for the losing team, because it feels like you have no opportunity to actually attempt a come back unless the ahead team fucks up extremely badly and hands over all their doubloons instead of just clowning with their advantage.

I just played a game with Leoric (who is rapidly becoming one of my favorite heroes after initially hating him) where a Hammer actually would setup properly and we'd bait them in, then I'd entomb and it'd just be a loving murderhut between the two of us, a hatted Illidan, and Greymane throwing cocktails. SO hilarious. EDIT: Also other than Janitor Leoric, I really want a baseball themed one where his Entomb becomes a little fenced in baseball diamond and he shouts, "SWING FOR THE FENCES," every time he uses it.

Out of curiosity, I checked Sgt. Hammer stats on hotslogs. In most of my drafts, people consider Chromie a hard counter for Sgt. Hammer, so I checked out matchup stats, and... Silver and below vs. Chromie, Sgt. Hammer wins 31.7% of the time Gold vs. Chromie, Sgt. Hammer wins 48.3% of the time Plat and above vs. Chromie, Sgt. Hammer wins 58% of the time So yeah, there's an obvious trick to Sgt. Hammer that you learn just above gold level, and that's to almost, but not quite entirely, completely ignore your most iconic ability.

I blame the ui on this one. The unsieged tank should sound stronger. And why does raynor have a rifle and not a machine gun ffs. Raynor would be one of my favorite heroes if he had a teal outfit that would make that sound sc1 made when you claimed hero units by moving into them that would always go off at the start of maps with hero units.

So when I have to leave a draft lobby because my team is trolling and end up stuck in the leaver queue what am I supposed to do to get in a drat game. I don't care about playing with other leavers but I have been sitting in queue for 10 minutes so I can't even finish Blizz's stupid req to get out of it.

Oh hey I was able to actually watch ads for bits just now. Nice. I got 70 before it grayed out the "watch another" button, but if you exit that and click "Get Bits" again, it let me watch more. I was able to get over 150 and counting. 100 is what's needed for the "global" mount for free. Nice. Now I need to remember to actually cheer for a team. Also, one of them I kept getting was a pizza hut ad, where it asked you to pick from 4 two-topping pizzas, but every time I click one it just selects "pepperoni and sausage" and shows that 100% of people voted for that one

On top of that, you're making other people (including the enemy team) requeue, which depending on the time of day, can be a big pain. Don't do that.

Sometimes you'd rather queue up again and do something else for 10 minutes instead of playing around a lovely 4 stack meme team and not having fun. I don't dodge QM/unranked, but I can see why people do it and I don't mind. They know they're getting a penalty afterwards, they must have their reasons.

You have to be A)  and B) in the subset of users they're "testing" the feature on. They said they'd be rolling it out to all of the US back in June but there are still people itt who say they can't.Then you go to any twitch stream, and click the bit icon in your "send message" chat box. Then click "Get Bits" and then check here:  As you can see, I was able to get 170 today (I got 5 the other day before they said "lol gently caress off")

There's a thing in settings -> options called "challenges" and if you started pre-2.0 you'll get a free 4k epic hero (un-rerollable) and a 7 day stim pack after completing it. I got Sonya, which was amazing for me because I really wanted her. Certainly old news but it's so hidden someone else might get value off of it.

Personal experience is 65% 5-bit ads, 25% 10-bit ads, 10% more. I've gotten up to 50 for one in the past. So with only 5 and 10 bit ads you're looking like ~15 ads instead of 20. You can run these in a different muted separate window. Just put your actual work/internet/whatever filling 90% of your screen with the edge of the ad visible. When you see the "interact with this ad to continue", switch to that window, interact (clicking blank space within the ad counts too, lol), and collect five technopennies. There's a cat treat one with a memory game, but most of them are just "click here for the second half of the ad! You're interacting! This is interactive!"
