I really didn't like Abel's last album but this one is so good from start to finish.

This album probably contains my favorite Future tracks.

Not sure if this was posted already, the video for Manboy. I've been listening to Brainiac on repeat since it came out it's really grown on me. A pigeon ain't poo poo and bebop and rocksteady are the best songs imo.

It's a great album but Lost in the Sauce just has an insane flow to it, easily the best song imo (althouggh I reserve the right to change my mind). I do hope his actual album drops this time, and I really recommend everyone check out Braniac. If it were longer it'd no doubt be in my top albums of the year.

Yeah I don't get how some record exec listened to Kismet and thought "this sucks cancel this guy's deal". Also I've never heard of that Constrobuz guy outside of him producing Ice Cups but his sound meshes really well with exquire's raps.

e; Apparently he produced parts of Kismet too and has a bunch of instrumentals on youtube

I doubt it was a matter of people thinking he sucked, it was more likely he got signed and they expected an album of 10+ huzzahs, but instead got an actual album. Also his sound def doesn't really hit any of what sounds popular on radio, and he didn't have any big cosign to get him a push. Tbh probably would've been better off career wise signing with a smaller label than trying to get on a major (although no idea what his money looked like, that's def an influence). Like in the climate of the last 5-10 years, dudes with that profile I don't think generally just hop on like that. Even Kendrick sold 100k+ before getting on Aftermath (and that may just be a distribution deal anyways). I do think in interviews he's talked about learning from that experience so hopefully he'll get back to where he was. I could see him easily hopping on some smaller label and getting traction, dude's definitely got talent.

Really glad he's officially making music after all the retirement talk (and I believe he's even touring currently as part of playaz circle). The snippets he posted earlier had more of a Mister Thug Isolation sound than his recent stuff too (although I've liked all his recent stuff but I think it wasn't everyone's cup of tea).
Loving this track. His vocals on here sound almost...rockish? The whole thing almost sounds like a throwback. An album of stuff like this would be something else.

Yeah it'd be cool if he got some recognition, music moves so fast though it seems like most rappers only have 5-10 prime years to make their mark or whatever.

Lost in the Sauce starts out weird for the first few seconds but the minute your mind adjusts his flow to the beat it's nuts

Brainiac is real good, if short. Gonna listen to Brockhamptons album next
