The problem is that politicians are too nice. Their campaign pays top dollar for focus groups that respond and say "wow Nasty Woman gets to the core of Hillary, that's the one I respond best to" or "yes, Deplorable is a good verb, highest marks for deplorable" but they just get adopted by the group they target. Going forward people need to just cut to the bone. No more dancing around the subject. Call Trump supporters "racist shitheads," call Hillary a "conniving frigid bitch." Don't worry about walking on eggshells. No one's going to wear a t-shirt proclaiming pride in being a racist piece of poo poo or run a campaign around being the racist lovely candidate.
