Bob is one of those authentic old school pirates from Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides

They'll have to learn this the hard way but they can't replace Iniesta. This is also why Neytard was only the 4th best player at Barca.

on the one hand I feel like liverpool would be really stupid to not take 120m for cooter, but on the other hand I honestly do not know who they would spend 120m on. like, seriously, who are some targets? that pizzi guy from benfica? that one center back from athletico? like half the starters from porto?

Liverpool already can't get other clubs to take their supposed $200m transfer kitty. That's probably not changing @ $300m and minus 1 Coutinho.

If you'd asked how much Coutinho was worth last summer, you would have got like £40m at the very top estimate. He didn't even have his best season and now the talk about £100m transfer fees is actually real and realistic. Suarez is by a distance a more talented player than Coutinho and we sold him for £65m I think. My point is football is real crazy

I get the feeling Southampton will sell him to Chelsea out of spite.

Which is kind of justified at this point.

Chelsea already have 5 CBs that would be in the matchday squad for pretty much any team in the league.

Though with Cahill leaving next summer I guess now is the time to buy.

He's out of contract next summer, but most people think he won't be offered another deal. Conte isn't really the sentimental type.

He signed a four year contract extension in 2015, so unless they changed how math works he's out of contract in 2019.

Are Chelsea safe with their number of Home Grown players?

I'm sure they could buy up some young players if they were in danger of dropping below the minimum, but Cahill seems solid enough to be worth keeping around.

They will probably have to rejigger their formation quite a bit, they've brought in several new attackers but none are really directly Lemar replacements (assuming he does actually leave).
