I love this, not so much for the pro-Maduro loathsomeness, but for the increasingly obvious case to be made that Latuff either fundamentally does not grasp Trump or outright refuses to. Garrison is the only other cartoonist who could draw him as something other than a doddering old fox news grandpa, and it's doubly loving infuriating here because you know Latuff needs to maintain this facade since doing otherwise might mean addressing the government's violence against its population.

Also, the main US proxy force in Syria is the openly socialist SDF and the Trump administration recently announced plans to have the CIA stop arming anti-Assad rebels.
