I want to love this because Berserk rules, but there is something very wrong with casting the incel as Griffith. I just mean that in the pre-internet these people rarely grew as toxic as they do now because in isolation some 15 year old kid is just going to have to deal with his poo poo instead of retreating to come online community where their problems are normalized and reinforced and made yet more radical. These people are basically recruiting and indoctrinating kids into their bullshit worldview and what they willingly admit is a pitiable and terrible existence just so they can have someone else to feel lovely about themselves with.

I just meant that at that young age it's less what their peers are lying about doing and more a passive digestion of stories about their age group without having the life experience to recognise them as the nostalgic fantasies of an old person rather than a representation of what youth should be like. Although now there's probably on top of that an active digestion of the lies of strangers and hardcore pornography on the internet.
