Trump, who hates leaks, retweeted a story about North Korea based on anonymous sources leaking classified information The president retweeted a Fox News story on Tuesday morning that relies on anonymous US officials giving away classified information about North Korea – effectively verifying the information. The Fox story is about US spy agencies detecting two anti-ship missiles being loaded onto a boat by North Korea in recent days. It attributes the information to "US officials with knowledge of the latest intelligence in the region" and quotes "one official who requested anonymity to discuss sensitive information." https://www.buzzfeed.com/buzzfeednews/live-dc-updates-week-of-080717?utm_term=.as8AmMYBD#.nioYL9JrA lol

I would like to mention that I have lived in the Washington DC area, and I have always found it interesting when there is advertising that is very directly targeting government employees. It seems reasonable I guess, but still seemed weird to me at the time when Lockheed-Martin or Boeing or whoever would get tons of posters in metro stations, or hearing radio commercials for such-and-so weapons platforms that protect the warfighter. Like, advertisements that would use very government-contract-specific key phrases, to try to, I imagine, get the attention of people who decide government contracts for this stuff. Like, how big of an audience of people are these ads really targeting? A few hundred people? Maybe just a dozen people? But I guess for Lockheed-Martin, they really want their combat-capable weapons platform to get into the hands of the warfighter, and get that big government contract.

There are a lot of similarities here. The bribery charge is him accepting gifts like loving booze, and trump and Company soak up federal dollars into their orgs like a hoover. quote:There are so many separate corruption charges threatening to finally bring down Netanyahu that the Israeli press refers to them by numbers. https://www.vox.com/world/2017/8/8/16107212/corruption-bribery-netanyahu-chief-of-staff-revelations

i love how the common right-wing sentiment of what would happen if America were to be invaded is "we're too well armed and we love this country so it would be impossible", but when another country actually does to try to stop the US from being foreign invaders, they figure that the U.S just needs to 'try harder'.

As much as I like laughing about the fat joke president, this is one of the moments where I kinda wish that there was a real US president in place. There may be a way to reach an agreement for China to limit or slow down the North Korean nuclear and rocket program. Limit the number of warheads perhaps. But nothing will happen with that clown in the White House. But her emails, right?
