So, "fides" means "faith". If you had wanted it to say, "My faith is in the Lord," "meus" is wrong because "fides" is feminine. And "Dominus" is nominative. If you had wanted it to say "The Lord is my strength," you picked the entirely wrong word with "fides".

I got my first tattoos a few weeks ago, and the trio of them are pretty small and up on my shoulder. They were not loving painless. So some of these I look at and wonder, how, and loving why, and Jesus Christ that had to loving hurt! And the poorly drawn ones. For the price of the pain, it better look good. Like Pickolas Cage.
