Instead of documenting freep, I ended up sitting down with my (boomer) father and discussing... random stuff.

It turns out that his work at a defense contractor during the 60s and 70s was on nuclear missiles, keeping the US safe from the USSR through the threat of mutually assured destruction.
He finds that situation far more preferable than the fuckery with North Korea.

It was a far more pleasant experience than exposing myself to freep.

How soon we seem to have forgotten the uproar of his 'wiretapping' claim or that he won the popular vote? And yet, are these two assertions now accepted - as evidenced by their omission by the enemy press?

One take home lesson from them today is how few actually passionate Trump defenders there still are.
