Also someone brought up that a search warrant requires probable cause to be issued. So that's also kind of a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

True, but like facialimpediment and M_gargantua said, the fact we're just hearing about it now is telling for multiple reasons. Also, that it happened the day AFTER he gave the Senate intel committee a bunch of docs.

I pointed out that this is what taxes are for and he just started ranting about money being taken out of his wallet. These are the people who will support any gop tax reforms.

This is what they are saying about the standard deductionquote:The Tax Reform Blueprint will consolidate the basic standard deduction, the additional standard deduction, and the personal exemptions for families and individuals. The new larger standard deduction will be $24,000 for married individuals filing jointly, $18,000 for single individuals with a child in the household, and $12,000 for other individuals. These amounts will be adjusted annually for inflation. Which seems if they want to do that, they have to take away tax exemptions from middle class and are praying there are no tax exemptions for the rich, but lol That is the 0-12% bracket. So some how you have to hit that then you get put into a 25% bracket.

Anger Mango's ego making him paint the rest of the GOP as the enemy is a pretty good outcome. If he can rip the party apart at the already straining seams we can hopefully start to unfuck things like gerrymandering with 2020 redistricting out of their control. Assuming of course we even have elections in 2020 instead of "elections".

And jacking up the standard deduction is a wash in states with an income tax while it gives a huge tax cut in the states without an income tax. Say, don't states without an income tax usually vote Republican?
