No, you got a good pic. Crazy that you happened to be there right after, and it's good luck that no one was injured or killed. Another shot: goatsestretchgoals posted:Why do your garbage trucks have clear sides? So it's easy to make sure there are no hobos stuck inside. Real answer: the side isn't clear, that's just a picture of garbage (like this)...I still do a double take sometimes, when i see one of those trucks with that on it. But speaking of hobos in SF garbage trucks.... Man in critical condition in SF after being crushed in garbage truck quote:A man found in a pile of recycling at the Recology processing plant at San Francisco’s Pier 96 remained in critical condition Monday night at San Francisco General Hospital, according to San Francisco Fire Department officials. edit: So i guess if that worker never noticed the guy, he would have ended up going into this thing: and then if he made it through that, he would have ended up in this: After already getting crushed inside of the garbage truck of course. Some people here in Melbourne Australia recently killed a dude, stuffed his bloodied corpse inside a recycling bin, wheeled it over to the next street and left it on the kerb for the garbage man to collect. Our garbage trucks have those long robot arms that pick up the bins so the garbo got to watch on his monitor as the robot arm dumped a bloodied body inside his truck. http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/two-charged-over-preston-body-in-the-bin-case-20170608-gwnb83.html Poor guy was traumatised pretty badly by all that: quote:The garbage truck driver's screams when he discovered the body were heard throughout the street.

I can't imagine laying there going "Please Kill Me!" and they just won't do it. I mean, at day 2 or 3 hundred I think a mercy killing would have been in order. FFS! I do sincerely hope that if I end up in a state like that, or with dementia to where I am losing contact with reality that someone smothers me in my sleep or something.

I remember my grandfather's last weeks when he was dying of cancer. All we could do was watch him writhe in agony. Even the touch of sheets on his skin was unbearable to him, despite being given Morphine constantly. My grandmother begged the doctors to give him more and they said, "If we give him any more it will kill him." And she said "So?! He's dying now!" So rather than kill him with morphine, they let him starve to death in agony. The modern interpretation of the hippocratic oath is insane.
