Euron hasn't really done much in the books yet, though, except capture some lovely islands and become king, and that was a given since most of the Ironborn are bunch of backwards fucks who couldn't stand the thought of a woman leading them, not to mention the cool magic horn he had. I mean, the poor guy has to send his brother to go and get Dany for him. Can you imagine teleporting finger-up-the-bum show Euron sending someone else to fetch a woman he wants to bang? Book Euron does definitely give off the sense of being dreadfully and menacingly powerful, though.

Cersei ignores the threat of the white walkers to grab the Golden Company and claim Westeros for herself. Dany, Jon and Co just don't have the numbers to fight the threat from both sides and are killed. Bran sees this and goes back to do all that Bran the builder / night king stuff as he knows it's the only way to defeat Cersei. White walkers are the good guys. I think I first wished they would kill everyone around season 4, will be a great ending.

Book Euron seems like a genuinely creepy and dangerous guy, even though most of his exploits have been off-page. Show Euron is more like The Joker, laughing and having fun doing evil deeds. (well, I guess you can argue these are both sides of The Joker, one of them anyway)

So, watching how Cersei deals with Ellaria and Tyene, and I just can't ignore that the chains on both of them were obviously long enough for them to reach up and take the gags out of their mouths. Really ruins the scene, especially when the showed Yara having her arms chained to her sides not two scenes prior.
