I was originally going to just post a  emoticon with the link, but I'm now confused if this is an anime-waifu-gently caress-moe-girls game or not. Regardless, it's some weird pbta game with no previews so yeah. I mean, yeah, there is a video that is like 2 hours long of the developer explaining the game, but, uh, it'd be easier just to post a loving sample and let us see. Anyway, originally posted it as a joke as I assumed it was just an anime-waifu-gently caress-moe-girl game that was so blatant it was humorous, but now I'[m just confused. Can't tell if porn or if the guy just thought "monstergirls" would sell his entirely unreleated concept. Probably somewhat lewd. Also, all the updates are just fiction about the setting so the guy probably doesn't GET PbtA. Looks like it's from the guy behind Oubliette, which (at least based on the FATAL & Friends review) seems like a pretty good system. Though that was a Fate Core hack and this is a PBTA thing, so no clue if it'll be any good. No comment on the subject matter, though.

So, I am in a bizarre position. I am interested in the new Spellbound Kingdoms: Arcana kickstarter, which I imagine has been already mentioned. Specifically, I am interested in the extra chapter available at the 65$ tier; the problem is that that includes this: *A code for a POD, full-color, hardcover copy of the Spellbound Kingdoms: Arcana book purchased at cost through DriveThruRPG. I have no use for that. Does anyone want it? Perhaps enough to shoulder a bit of the 65$ I am seriously considering dropping on this elfgame, oh my god what's wrong with me?

There would be ways to do that concept without invoking that, but they're purposefully hitting that button. I'm more of a boardgamer than a tabletop RPGer, but I'm really into this KS campaign: The GameMaster's Apprentice: A Fantasy Deck for any RPG It's a series of decks of randomizer cards for any kind of storytelling system. It also allows you to kind of automate a GM if you want to play solo or cooperatively without someone leading the story. Dang, Soda Pop Miniatures royally hosed up their KS for Rail Raiders Infinite, and now they're going to be selling product at Gen Con after repeatedly telling backers they wouldn't sell product until most KS orders were fulfilled. And they aren't letting KS backers pick up orders at Gen Con because it'd be too hard to track. Part of me wants to camp out by their booth and hope for a good display of awkward nerd rage.

I backed 7th Sea just for reading material, and today they sent out an email saying they'll be at GenCon handing out the Quick Start book for their 7th Sea: The East line of Asian-inspired splats. Why yes, the first Nation mentioned was filled with arrogant high-borne samurai man-children, how did you know?

Dark Souls has some excellent minis (except for the Dancer resculpt), but the rules at launch require a lot of house ruling to be fun apparently. It felt like they were rushed to market and under the thumb of their Japanese licensee for a lot of design decisions. They also recently announced that they're launching a Dark Souls Card Game available through the DS KS pledgemanager before retail next year.

This halves the game length and makes grinding not possible. Also its just flat insanely better with 1-2 players over 3-4. 2 optimal. I briefly looked at the card game. Anyone know if Paladins has the trappings of Medieval society baked right into the rules in regards towards female player characters? and if so how ignorable is it? Trying to figure out if its a back for me or not but I'm unsure how likely I am to bring it to the table with my current playgroup.
