All agreed but at the same time there's people who possibly aren't in a situation where they can punch Nazis and the moral support of people saying "yes, punch Nazis" does have a positive reinforcing effect worth expressing. Don't give these fuckers an inch. Also Lee Fang is good and I think there is value to being self-critical of the application of violence to meet leftist goals.

Yea that too, even if you can't/don't feel safe doing it yourself, just agreeing 'yea, it's not bad to want to bash fash' is good to keep people from being made to feel ashamed for defending themselves. Fang is good on the whole but he gets a bit too contrarian in the name of self-critical views for my tastes. Smart guy, but I've learned to just ignore a good bit of his op-eds and stick to his more hard journalism.
