demi-chan may or may not also push your creepy buttons, because the teacher is kind of an idiot about the outward appearance of his relationships with the girls

Don't be scared off. Demi-Chan's heart is in the right place. I'm not saying the tone is always perfect, but I'm willing to forgive a little :japan: for such a heartfelt, charming show.

Speaking personally, as a dude who's been dealing with disabling chronic pain for a couple years, I was impressed by the light touch with which it approaches the idea of disability.

seriously though watch yama no susume if you want a good bite-sized relaxing adventurey sol thing without any kind of weird stuff. the first season is a pretty fun super short thing you can blow through in like an hour, and the second season is one of the greatest shows ever created by human hands

i watched the whole thing and honestly the anime added stuff that made it even weirder to get through compared to the manga. also I'm not that big of a fan of what the show ended up being that I'd push people to go beyond their discomfort for a nebulous payoff.

I'm glad that it was relatable and enjoyable for others though.

they padded the "date," so it was most if not all of the episode it took place in. it stands out as one of those situations a teacher really shouldn't put themselves in. it was also like episode 2 or 3, where people maybe don't know fully what the show is doing and the relationships really aren't established to the level that you'd expect student and teacher to hang out outside school.

The estimates I heard are something like a million people are expected to come and hotel rooms in the area are going for like 1000 a night if you try to get there early to avoid being stuck on the highway.

Oregon here. I think I'm in the 95% region or something like that, but considering covering the last 1% is something like 10,000 times darker, it may not be too noticeable.

If you're in the path of it at all you'll be perfectly happy, i think.

Also you won't have to deal with traffic. Except it'll probably still affect you since it's predicted to be the single largest voluntary migration of people in history.
