SubponticatePoster posted:Welp how the gently caress do you mulligan that one? You don't. Group stops are a normal part of cycle racing. Yes, that's what it looks like. They've stopped the race to piss. The breakaway group at the front got pulled back in, which would have probably happened eventually, anyways. Breakaway groups any time other than the last few kilometers are about getting your sponsor on camera, not winning. Maybe some stragglers caught up with the group. In the end, it doesn't matter a whole lot unless that stoppage at the bridge was near the end. The dynamics of cycle racing is a bit odd. Like, if the race leader blows a tire halfway through the race everybody is going to slow down and let him catch back up. I've personally witnessed the breakaway riders do their thing. A few riders rocket off, like the first 4 girls in that video, and lead the group for a while to get on camera and the mass group (peloton) leaves them alone. Eventually they tire out, the group catches up, and they finish waaaaaaaaaay back in the pack. Race organizers even have a separate group of motorcycles to beep their horns to clear the road for the breakaway group because they know the breakaway group is going to happen.

Here is an article about sports peeing. Apparently football players just pee their pants all the time. quote:Players drink gallons of water but can't leave the field for even 30 seconds for fear of a turnover happening midstream. Over the years, Gross had tried every technique NFL players and other hyper-hydrated athletes use to surreptitiously relieve themselves during games. He'd experimented with the time-honored slow release into his pants, but they were white, for starters, and it just left Gross feeling soggy and slow. He kind of enjoyed the "T-Pee curtain" method, going inside a hut of towels or parkas. But worrying that his teammates would prank him by walking away midflow occasionally gave Gross stage fright -- aka paruresis, or what urologists refer to as "ballpark bladder." His tight pants, no-fly spandex and all the tape on his gloved hands and mangled fingers made it cumbersome to kneel behind the bench and pee into a cup (a method that was so popular among his teammates that rookies often had a hard time differentiating which cups contained actual Gatorade).

"a scene featuring a bike-riding raider slamming into a car, flying off his motorcycle, smashing his legs into the car and then hurtling before the camera. The stuntman—Guy Norris—was not supposed to bounce his legs off the car. Unfortunately, upon impact, the car rose into the air and met Norris’ legs full-on. The poor man had just recovered from a previous leg injury and this particular incident bent the steel pin in his leg 20 degrees in the wrong direction. A slow playback of the scene actually shows his leg at an unnatural angle. Those statues should be preserved, preferably in a way that generates revenue instead of them just being dead capital. I'm thinking maybe like a museum should buy them and be caretaker of them. Or a pornogapher? How much would a nazi pay to see a porn with gen lee in it? I honestly don't know but I'm thinking a lot?
