Ya got took, plain and simple.

The LG TV I bought does not spam me with ads and more importantly, it did not get a pushed, mandatory software update from the manufacturer that caused it to spam me with more ads than before, with no way to fully turn them off. Basically Samsung lately have been kind of scummy and I don't recommend them as a brand. See also: exploding phones.

Yeah I don't buy Costco electronics on the possibly wrong assumption that like the other giant retailers, they're carrying special costco-only SKUs that have been subtly de-featured in order to support the lower price. But goddamn I love me some costco shopping. This summer I went in and got whole fresh wild caught alaskan salmon for like $7.99/lb, it was gorgeous and amazing

I gave up on Costco for a couple of reasons It's insanely busy at all times and I hate waiting in long lines. They move inventory to totally different places and I never know where to buy my favorite products.

Avoiding Costco electronics when they have the best return policy/warranty on the planet is insane.
