Well if the spoilers are true that was the end for Tormund and Beric, all of Eastwatch castle and all got buttfucked.

When Jon Snow told Euron that the ice zombies couldn't swim it was kind of misleading because the zombies can clearly dive well enough to fasten chains around a dead dragon at the bottom of a lake.

They can go DOWN, but they never come UP again, so Euron's probably okay until the Shadowflame Dragon and the boats crewed by the dead show up in a few years.

Something else i missed in the shuffle was that Bran saw all of that so everyone at Winterfell is gonna know what just happened

So lol no, the northern lords are gonna have bigger fish to fry than Jon bending the knee.

so they went with the who dead dragons bit did they? that's cool. NOT. like, i was sorta expecting it last episode when the dragon died, i kept nudging my girlfriend, "when are they going to resurrect the dragon?" of course they did as the final scene in the previous episode. but i just feel that it's lazy. i thought it would be dead men vs dragons but i guess not. so now we have to deal with a dead dragon? i am sure somehow jon snow (forgot his real name already, sorry) will somehow try and communicate with it at some point and bringing back to their side. also if the undead have a dragon why not just fly right down to king's landing already? they took out a thousand foot wall in a matter of minutes killing thousands just from this dragon, hey guess what night king? you already won buddy. take it over man fly to the throne and claim it

i still think it would have been way more interesting if ramsay hadn't died yet and he was the one allying with cersei. that guy was a way better villain. he had the crazy eyes.

Why would Kings Landing be their desto or goal? Pretty sure the NK gives no fucks about the thrones of men.

I have a theory but its :spergin:

Nah. Joffrey was the villain that we loved to hate. Tywin was the interesting villain.

Ramsay was ok during his debut season but defaulted into cartoon during his shirtless killing spree.

Euron was introduced as cartoon so I wonder how much worse it can get. By the way he is dressed, I'm guessing anime

In the books maybe.

In the show we were introduced to like 5 children of the forest, so we have to assume the worst that all CoF are dead. Just ask yourself, what point will the CoF have to the show's plot now that it's on fastforward mode?

I want whatever show/porn that parodies this show to have a scene where Cersei kisses Jaime, moves close to his ear and whispers

"where's my castle, fancy boy?"

then removes his mask and it was Bronn all along

Think about it: the NK made a concerted effort to get into the 3 eyed ravens lair and destroy that seat of greenseer power along with the children lurking there.

Its not like the 3 eyed raven ever hosed with the NK or could harm his plans in any way.

We were unknowingly introduced to the children in season 1 episode 1

This is their imagery, mockingly recreated by the white walkers and then throughout other seasons, that seems to suggest a degree of animosity towards the children

btw, if that goon that was convinced that last week's episode would be the turning episode for the series were people would finally see how lazy and lovely the writting has been progressively getting.

This season's average so far is second only to S4, standing at 9.25 (S4: 9.32, S1 and S6: 9.09, S3: 9.03, S2: 8.98 and S5: 8.85)

Granted, the final average of today's episode has still not settled, but even in the worst (or best?) case scenario that it goes down 0.3 points, the average would still be way ahead of season 1 and 6.

So what was the point of Euron burning the Unsullied's ships if they're just gonna show up in King's Landing anyway? I don't mean this as a "hurr teleportation" complaint, since presumably they just marched there and pillaged the countryside for supplies(but you know, in a good guy way). I just don't see what it added to the story when it obviously didn't inconvenience them in any way.

Also maybe Bran should have mentioned Jon's parentage to someone in the several months(?) he's been in Winterfell? Seems like the sort of thing you should mention to your family who are major political players, not keep to yourself on the off chance you'll meet a fat guy who helped you out several years ago.

Yeah this was kinda dumb.

I guess that the idea that they were trying to convey was that "since they called a ceasefire they let them go", but you don't just loving let go of your leverage as good will for your negotiations, specially if said leverage is half a loving army.

Alternatively, it could be interpreted as Cersei pulling back the Lannister troops and Euron's ships in case Daenerys attempted any funny business.

But knowing the show, it probably was the former.

If these were fat man books, Bran telling absolutely no one the truth and spending the season taunting LF with his secret catch phrases would have resorted in Bran getting pushed down the stairs and the secret of Jon's parentage dieing for ever (save for Meera's father)

Like, one of Stannis' establishing moments was him saying "I'm not gonna be an idiot like Ned Stark and keep this secret to myself, post it on everyone's wall!"
