I can tell this mouse will take some getting used to, I tend to do a claw grip and my hands are average size but my thumbs have a hard time reaching the G9/G10/G11 row unless my whole hand is resting on top of the mouse, which isn't how I hold the mouse at all. It's easy to click the "g-shift" button compared to the LMB/RMB. I can reach the that row if i angle the mouse a bit. I can tell this will getting used to the g402. I don't mind the weightiness of it. My coworker has an old Naga? and it seemed perfect, though it's the first revision is what he has. I like the side buttons better on this.

More Logitech stuff coming apparently So the 903 is obviously a newer G900 and the 703 is a new G403, but what's the G603?

Good question, that picture just looks like the 703 from a different angle. The 600 is their wired MMO mouse, and the 602 is their wireless MMO mouse. They both have a ton of buttons. I'd like to see them make the 502 in a wireless version. Like, exact same body and buttons but wireless.

I just bought a G903 last night because the scroll wheel on my G502 was getting fucky. I got 2.5 years out of the 502 so I guess that's not too bad. It probably has also had rum and coke spilled on it multiple times in that 2.5 years. I guess the only real difference between the 900 and the 903 is the ability to use their wireless charging mouse pad when it gets released (supposedly this month). I kind of want to try it but I don't think it'll work with the large metal Silverstone mouse pad that I've got that I've grown attached to.

The name doesn't have to mean anything after the G703 is the wireless recharging version of a G403, not related to the old G700/G700s. I want them to make a modern G700 (wireless, some additional buttons, modern sensors so the battery life isn't as pathetic), but it's probably not going to happen

The G703 and G903 have been out for over a month, but the G603 is brand new and sort of a mystery. Rumors I've read state that it could be a smaller more budget-y wireless G403, the LMB/RMB aren't separate from the shell (downgrade) and apparently it doesn't have full LEDs either.

My old m500 is kaput, apparently laptop duty and the attendant cord-wrapping every time I put it in my bag was just too much to ask. Looks like I'm shopping for a wireless laptop mouse, any hot tips? I love the m403 on my desktop but I'm not looking to spend that much for a work mouse, something under $50 and not hot garbage would be lovely. E: also I have giant meat paws so no compact mice (the m403 is still a bit small tbh) Fender Anarchist fucked around with this message at 17:43 on Aug 28, 2017 |

look into the logitech mx performance; not the best for gaming (although it works), but so loving good for big hands & work stuff. it's a couple gens behind the current stuff, but it's still my daily driver at home and at the office. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002HWRJBM/?cstrackid=96390cbc-b52d-445d-897e-6832131bb152&tag=cs-logtk-20

So, it turns out that the rumored G603 mouse is a G403/G703 with a new low-power sensor: https://www.pcper.com/news/General-Tech/Logitech-your-new-HERO-G613-Wireless-Keyboard-and-G603-Wireless-Mouse While that's interesting, I gotta say I'm disappointed since I still want a proper successor to the G700/G700s.

TheRationalRedditor posted:You should try it asap if your Zowie is a EC1/2, the G403 form factor is quite close. Logitech's sensors are better because Zowie/Benq seemingly refuses to upgrade from the 3310. It gets the job done, but it's more error prone, especially on variable surfaces you'd encounter with frequent travel. i have an fk and if i'm going to nitpick it's a bit narrow; i think the 'intellimouse explorer' shape of the EC series is still the best shape i've used.

So my girlfriend's mouse is on the verge of dying, and I was wondering if I could get some recommendations. She lives with several cats that shed constantly, and also abuses her mice, so I'm wondering what's the most durable wireless mouse I could get her would be? Sub $100 if possible.

Look out, kiddies, Papa's got a brand new bag. Trackball. Thing. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-ergo-wireless-trackball-mouse I don't use them myself, but almost every machine shop I've ever worked in used a Logitech trackball at the stations, for reasons.

I've been thinking about Trackballs a lot, but good ones can be pricey and cheap ones* will likely make me not want to use a trackball. Is there a general guide or rule on when/why to chose a thumb or finger ball? I'm in the UK and the Elecoms ship from Japan, otherwise I'd order both an M-DT, an M-XT, & a Huge, to try out and return 2. *I tried a cheap Kensington fingerball a few years ago, but while it had a 'scroll wheel' around the outside of the ball, it didnt have a middle click, and since I spend 80% of my working day panning and zooming with the mouse wheel I couldnt give it a proper try.

I have two trackballs, both thumb. It's my understanding that they are probably worse for you in terms of wrist/hand pain - but I only use mine for living room PC work.

I got my work to buy an external TrackPad for my slight wrist strain of a regular mouse, and the pain went completely away. Currently using a G900 at home, which works well, but for games, I had to find my ideal DPI to keep me from using the wrist too much. (You want as low as possible within comfort.)

Sorry if this is a question that gets posted a lot given how good and longlived the G5s were, but I'm looking to finally replace mine with something equivalent. 10+ years and one replacement cable later it's begun to lose left/right scroll wheel clicks. I use them constantly for copy/paste and it's thoroughly ingrained muscle memory that I use all the time, so I'm looking for a mouse with a similar form factor that has the same left/right wheel click. Ideally it would be from a company that doesn't use the poo poo-rear end Setpoint program, but I'm fine to stick with Logitech if need be. Any suggestions? I don't need fanciness, just reliability, forward/back, and left/right scrollwheel that can be re-mapped.

Setpoint is Logitech's ancient software package that they haven't pushed in years, the modern software suite is completely superior Try the G502 or G900/G903, they both have the deluxe mousewheel and you won't mind their weight coming from the G5

I wish they had more onboard memory options. A MX anywhere 2 with onboard memory would be pretty much perfect.

Did Logitech ever start adding support for older hardware to their newest flashy options software? Because it was dumb if you used a combination of devices of different "generations", each with their own settings suite. And then you possibly need the gaming software as well. Which supports old stuff but sometimes only badly (eg. in the case of the G700 mouse).
